Beanie Feldstein and Bonnie-Chance Roberts’ Magical Summer Camp Wedding
Wedding season has kicked off, and one celebrity couple that just tied the knot is Beanie Feldstein, the actress known for Booksmart, and producer Bonnie-Chance Roberts.
The couple held their wedding at a summer camp in the Hudson Valley. They embraced the camp theme with bandana napkins and s’mores making, but that doesn’t mean that the wedding wasn’t stunningly elegant. Bonnie wore a pale pink Gucci tuxedo, while Beanie looked angelically bridal in a Gucci gown and her great-grandmother’s earrings.
Beanie asked Gucci to design her gown, but was overjoyed and surprised when they actually agreed. The dress was inspired in great part by Beanie’s own mother’s dress from 1975, with lace sleeves in homage to her mother and a bejeweled bow around the neck in lieu of a necklace. The dress is modest yet sexy.
The couple met in 2018 and fell in love throughout the filming process of How To Build a Girl, which Roberts produced and in which Feldstein starred. When they got engaged, Roberts gave Feldstein a classically beautiful art deco diamond and sapphire ring, which was mirrored in the diamond and sapphire encrusted wedding band that was exchanged at the wedding.
In planning the wedding, the couple used only female vendors, including female wedding planners. The details, such as beloved song quotes embroidered onto all of the napkins at the event, made all the difference. Set at a summer camp, it was just casual enough of an event to encourage spontaneity and joy. Attendees included celebrities like Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo, Sarah Paulson, and Ben Platt.
