The CFDA red carpet has seen a lot of iconic fashion moments including the iconic Swarovski slip see-through dress Rihanna wore at the 2014 edition, Alec Week’s white gown in 2005, Ashley Judd in Valentino in 2000, Blake Lively in Michael Kors mini dress or Elizabeth Hurley in purple sequined Versace gown in 1999.
This year was no exception, Kylie Jenner looked like an 11/10 in vintage 90s gown from Thierry Mugger’s fall 1999 collection. A gorgeous one shouldered, pleated sleeve with a high slit black skirt. The waist cinching silhouette looked absolutely stunning and timeless. Fashion’s favorite fashion girl, Julia Fox, is known for taking risks and establishing trends and she did it again. Wearing a boundary pushing cutout look exposing her torso and covering all extremities in an edgy Valerievi black ensemble. Fox’s fashion approach is one that is boundary pushing and yet makes sense, she puts fashion first making all her looks a statement that creates dialogue surrounding the idea of what is fashion and how the body relates to it.
