Last Minute Father’s Day Gifts

Father’s Day is this weekend on Sunday, June 18th. This day, while culturally seen as far less important than Mother’s Day, is still just as important to dads. The day is a great way to celebrate the fathers in our lives that have helped and influenced us.

The holiday, however, always sneaks up incredibly quickly and quietly, as it has little of the to-do that happens in anticipation of Mother’s Day. Additionally, if your father is anything like mine, figuring out what to get him as a gift is incredibly challenging. Fathers tend to say they don’t want anything, but we all know that the perfect gift would make him incredibly happy. With that said, here is a list of last minute gift ideas to celebrate your father this Sunday.

For the dad who loves to experiment in the kitchen

If your dad is always coming up with new recipes and loves to tinker around in the kitchen, a great Father’s Day gift is a new gadget for him to play around with. This stainless steel pasta machine will get your dad into making his own pasta dough, with different setting for endless experimentation.

For the dad who is obsessed with the perfect cup of coffee

I will never stop recommending pour over equipment as a gift. It is a fancy, elevated way of making coffee, and all coffee lovers know that it gets the absolute best extraction out of high quality coffee beans. If your dad loves his coffee, this Hario Ceramic Pour Over Cone Coffee Maker will definitely please him.

For the dad who spends all summer at the grill

If your dad is the ultimate grill master or is simply a barbeque sauce connoisseur, try getting him this set of Bachan’s Japanese Barbecue Sauces that he can experiment with. It’s a twist on the barbecue sauce that your dad knows and loves, and will give his summer grilling a new spin.

For the dad who loves to go camping

If your dad loves to camp, he probably already has all the basics, which can make finding a camp-related gift challenging. The key is to get something useful and well designed that he could probably use an upgrade for, like this Rakau knife kit. It comes with three knives, a cutting board, and a microfiber towel all wrapped up in a neat and safe bag.

For the dad who likes to have fun with his outfits

While these socks are technically part of Bombas’s Pride collection, they would look awesome on a dad of any orientation. They are fun and colorful, and add the perfect pop of color. If you or your dad are gay or queer, it is just an added bonus that these rainbow socks show off  some pride.
