MaisonCléo Gives Customers a Look Into Their Design Process With a Lot of Production Details

MaisonCléo, the mother/daughter brand founded in 2016 in northern France is giving honest, transparent, eco-forward fashion.

All fabrics used at MaisonCléo come from dead stock and leftovers from French Couture Houses and factories. The mother of the duo, Marie Dewet, has been a seamstress for over 30 years, experience that helped the brand established its great quality and hand made processes. A womens brand that understands women’s bodies, you can order made-to-measure garments. Additionally, there is an option to adjust anything on the order, which is something that is not done very much and can make the customer feel even better and more personal when wearing what they purchased.

MaisonCléo made its runway debut at Paris Fashion Week in March of 2022. Hitting the Parisian dream with a front row filled with editors from the highest publications from around the world.

It is common for MaisonCléo to do exclusive drops with other brands such as Net-à-Porter, Selfridges, and Printemps Haussmann. They launched their first drop in December 2018 with Opening Ceremony and since then they have released multiple drops every year, along with what is on their website.

One of my favorite looks from the fashion brand is their look 34 of their March 2023 runway collection is a beautiful and classy champagne silk babydoll dress. In the description, they say that it takes 3 hours to make one dress and with this specific fabric, they are able to make 10 dresses.

The detail and transparency they give their customers is new and exciting. It allows us to feel like a part of the production process that not many companies think to incorporate.
