As the Oscars event closes down, with awards handed and the talented are celebrated, the night doesn’t end there. The after parties are just getting started, whether it's Vanity Fair, hosted this year by chief Radhika Jones, or the highly sought-after Oscars afterparty, also known as the ‘Gold Party,’held by rap artist and entrepreneur Jay-Z and his wife, Beyonce.  The party has been known for its tightly held guest list and low-key presence, with no red carpet arrivals or photographers. This iconic bash was attended by Saweetie, Rihanna, Snoop Dog, Kim Kardashion, Zoe Krativz, and DJ Khaled. It didn't matter which party you attended, guests let their hair down and took off their gloves, and enjoyed the rest of the night.

As if we couldn’t get enough of the glamour, our favorite celebrities came back for a second time in the same night and showed off gowns and dresses galore, made by luxury and renowned designers.  Rihanna chose a black organza turtleneck gown with an oversized bow at the back, made by Valentino. Beyonce upped the glam factor with rows of dripping diamond paired with a Valentino Haute Couture gown and matching cape in bold neon yellow, and finishing it off with a Judith Leiber clutch shaped like a tennis ball. Zoe Krativz channels her true style in a white Saint Laurent gown with a nigh neck and a plunging back, while Kim Kardashion goes bold in a show-stopping blue Balenciaga gown. Jessica Alba shined in a frothy Carolina Herrera gown and paired it with sparkly diamond earrings.

Inside the Vanity Fair after party, celebrities posed for their photo op on the sapphire blue carpet before entering an open-air space that spanned one city block. The party was divided into two areas with bars and courtyards in between. Billie Eilish, Kristen Stewart, and Will Smith along with the family all attended, and the family rapped, danced, and grinned ear to ear as he held his Oscar for “Best Actor.” The Euphoria cast reunited as they sent hugs and love all across.

With the ‘Gold Party’ being taken place at the the renowned Chatueo Marmont, the location created quite a commotion as angry protesters raised their voices and signs, claiming they worked in a toxic work environment with racial discrimination and the owner, André Balazs, abandoned more than 200 fired employees during the coronavirus pandemic. The hotel's employees are boycotting it, citing a toxic work environment that includes "neglectful management" and "unaddressed racial discrimination and sexual misbehavior." Kurt Petersen, the co-president of Unite Here Local 11, a union supporting the service staff, who are not unionized. “This hotel should not be seen any more as the go-to spot in Hollywood until they change the way they treat workers. We’re in a moment in our history where people need to decide which side they are on.

A truly eventful night, the Oscars will be remembered and go down in history. After putting on a proper face and being on their best behavior, celebrities ended the night with dancing and drinks in glamorous and high fashion look.
