Zara Enters the Metaverse with its New Digital Collection

We are currently living in a world where what we look like online is just as important as what we look like in real life. Retailers like Zara are entering a world where we can truly express ourselves. With the first release, Zara debuted a "Metacollection" - LIME GLAM.  Exotic, galactic, and contained with futuristic sparkles, LIME GLAM was designed with garments, accessories, and makeup. It is completed with a wall, a floor, and a photobooth which was created to enhance the whole experience. It contains eight different designs that are perfect for dressing in reality or in the virtual playground. 

Previously, Gucci launched Gucci villa, another digital realm with Zepeto. Used to create 3D animated characters, Zepeto is a platform used for creative studios and has been used by many different brands.  With the new digital collection, now everyone can add to the new 3-D pieces from Zara, from hot pink platform sandals, to slinky ruched satin dresses, the limited edition collection is a showcase of some of the season’s biggest trends. The set also includes casual essentials, like a distressed denim jacket, cutoff shorts, and woven tote bags. Zara also created beauty products to be enjoyed.
