Are wearing vibrant colors a sign of freedom post-pandemic?

While neutral and dark colors are still of course popular, vibrant colors have increasingly been worn more than usual. We have more time to think for ourselves as some jobs have gone hybrid or completely remote. It was also a result of sitting cooped up in the house for so long during the pandemic, we have become more open to trying new things rather than always wearing a black pantsuit for work. Wearing vibrant colors has become a sense of freedom.

A lot of street style looks have been pairing analogous colors, monochrome vibrant colors, and random vibrant colors into their outfit for the day rather than pairing a vibrant color with black pants to offset stepping outside of the box. 

People have been turning to loud colors and bold patterns to make a statement. The industry has taken a liking to maximalism post-pandemic.
