Some Summer Trends To Be On The Lookout For

Summer is just around the corner and we need to look at a few things to restock our wardrobe with.

Psychedelic prints

Psychedelic prints are all the rage. You see this pattern everywhere now. A lot of brands have been reinventing the 70s-born aesthetic. The Paco Rabanne set shown above is perfect for a day to night look. From pants, to tops, swimwear, it's never-ending, but we can’t get enough.

We couldn’t stress this trend enough, but it truly has been at the height of fashion right now. Thong pants, tube tops, thick headbands, cargo pants, and baby tees are everyone’s go-to at the moment.

The plain white tank

Simple and sweet, we love the plain white tank look. It is effortlessly sexy and can be styled in many ways. In the summer heat, the last thing you need are dark colors absorbing more heat to make you drip sweat. The essential cotton shirt has been a staple since forever. In the Vogue January 1992 issue, stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele put Claudia Sciffer in a $22 white tank top. It goes with everything and is so comfortable. What more can you ask for?

Platform sandals

The clunky platform sandal that can make an ordinary outfit look fabulous. It does not have to be as high as these beautiful hot pink Versace ones, but they definitely add some depth to any outfit.

Crochet tops

The boho-chic 2014 Coachella style is back. Whether a granny crochet pattern, camisole, or halter,  the crochet has been in back on the clothing racks. The modern day crochet is full of vibrant colors and would look so pretty for the bright summer days.

Sheer tops and dresses

Leaving little to the imagination, sheer tops and dresses have been the style on and off the runway this year. A lot of mesh tops, chiffon, organza, gauze, lace, sheer nylon, tulle, netting, we could go on forever, but these have been commonly used to draw out the sultry, sexy look for the summer.
