Britney and Donatella Reunion: Wedding Dress Edition

If you haven’t heard the news, Britney Spears is getting married and Donatella Versace is designing her dress for the big day. We aren’t too surprised about this collaboration since the two legends have been friends for a while.

In May last year, Versace posted an image on Instagram with Spears at Milan Fashion Week 2002 to celebrate 20 years since sitting at the show together. She captioned the image, “This is a flashback from when she came to my show in 2002, looking glamorous in Versace. I’ll never forget when you came and stayed with me Britney, you were and will always be magical!!!!”

Spears has had a troubling past couple of years in a conservatorship with her father. To finally be happy and have a custom dress designed by the Donatella Versace is a dream. 

Versace shared that Spears is doing amazing after the termination of her conservatorship. 

“She’s on vacation now. She’s doing well. I find her in an amazing state of mind,” Versace told reporter Marc Malkin at Vanity Fair’s 2022 Oscars afterparty on March 27, “I know it's been such a long time. I’m very happy to see her like that.” 

Spears and her fiancé, Sam Asghari, did not attend the 2022 Oscars parties together. Spears has yet to make her first award show appearance since becoming a free woman. And she has yet to show us that beautiful Versace custom gown at her beautiful wedding…
