Bottega Veneta is Going to Have a Repeat Show for Their F/W 2023 Collection

Although they just shared their Fall/Winter 2023 collection in late February during Milan Fashion Week, Bottega Veneta is returning, but this time in Beijing. The fashion label will be hosting another runway show that not only repeats its collection from February but will also add 20 new looks that are exclusive to the Chinese market.

Bottega Veneta is attempting to grow its presence in the Chinese luxury market. This is a part of their campaign to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Last year their celebration for this holiday took place on a portion of the Great Wall of China. “Happy New Year” and the Bottega Veneta logo were written on the top of the Great Wall.

In addition to the visuals on the Great Wall of China last year, they donated to the restoration of the Shanhai Pass, one of the points on the Great Wall. This part is also known as “the first pass under Heaven.”

For this year's Chinese New Year, back in February, Bottega Veneta created a short film and put a Bottega-green train on a journey all around China. The film focuses on the journey home and how important it is to travelers. The importance of spending time with family and friends during the holidays is expressed heavily in the short film. Also, the green train included the phrase, “on the roads that lead home, Happy New Year" on its sides.

To help grow their presence in the Chinese luxury market, they revived their Weibo account, a social media app in China. Their previous creative director, Daniel Lee had inactivated not just their Weibo account, but also their Instagram account.

During the February Milan show Kim Nam-joon, or RN in BTS, was seen in the front row and it definitely created a buzz among the crowd. People are starting to question if the fashion label is going to offer him a brand deal soon.
