Cardi B x Playboy’s Met Gala 2022 After Party at The Boom Boom Room NYC

The ultimate, hottest after party every year after the Met Gala takes place at The Standard NYC in the one and only, “The Boom Boom Room”. The only difference this year is that Cardi B and Playboy are hosting.

In honor of the Met Gala theme, “In America: An Anthology of Fashion”, the dancers at the after party wore the traditional Playboy Bunny costume that was made decades ago. The costumes were first introduced at The Playboy Club in 1960 but are now stored at The Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and some at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.

Cardi B recently acquired the role of Playboy’s first Creative Director in Residence and Founding Creative Director of Playboy’s new platform, Centerfold, open for “creative freedom, artistic expression, & sex positivity” where top creators interact with their fans.
