Celebrity Brand Yitty Announces Their First Gender-Affirming Line

Lizzo has always been one for self-love and body acceptance, and when she launched her shape-wear brand, Yitty, in 2022 she made sure that everyone could shop there. Their size range is from XS to 6X and there are countless amount of positive reviews about the materials, comfort, styles, and more for her brand.

The Grammys, Emmy and Billboard Music Awards winner has built a platform where positivity and lifting each other up are the main objectives.

Although Yitty is celebrating its one-year anniversary this month, they are already looking ahead to the future. On March 31st they announced that they will be dropping their first gender-affirming line titled “Your Skin”. This will not only grow their customer base but it will allow many transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming consumers to feel seen and appreciated.

We know of only two products right now: a tucking thong and a binding top. These pieces have been in the making for two years, which is very admirable that Lizzo knew she wanted this line before Yitty even officially dropped. This is only a sneak peek of the line and all other pieces will drop at the end of this upcoming summer.

Lizzo has said, "I've watched countless videos of people crafting their own garments to wrap or tuck their bodies so their body can truly feel like theirs." These pieces will allow the buyers to create a flat contour wherever desired on their body so they can feel more comfortable with themselves. 

Anyone that follows Lizzo on social media can tell that she is very passionate about making others feel comfortable in their own skin and feeling neutral or positive about their body. She has taken this same attitude to Yitty and at some point will start holding virtual meetings with customers and talk about her passions for the brand, keep connections with consumers, and keep growing Yitty.

Yitty has plans to build an in-person store at some point, but for now, they hold in-person events with their extremely loyal customers. These events are so that the brand can talk with customers about how they are doing overall, if there are areas for improvement, and what they are doing well at the moment. Yitty has some very exciting plans coming up and it will be fun to see them come to life.
