Christian Cowan Closes NYFW with an Epic After Party
After the runways show comes the after party!
Christian Cowan SS23 presentation showcased. A runway filled with creativity, color saturation and maximalist looks. The models wore Cowan’s latest creative experiment that gave color a whole new meaning.
Guests were treated to a maximalist and theatrical presentation at the Christian Cowan show. A show fit for the designer who creates the daring looks worn by Lady Gaga, Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus. All his work is a reflection of his lively spirit that makes heads turn with every design he presents. His collection reminded us all that fashion can and should be fun.
Even though his designs aren’t meant for everyone we can take away a great lesson on how to utilize color and dare to experiment. Models walked down the runway in risqué, color saturated, body revealing and maximalist looks. There is no restriction on how far creativity can take Cowan.
It couldn't be a maximalist over the top collection without Crocs. Cowan teamed up with Crocs to create three different designs that include a 61mm tall rubber Croc with detachable metallic chains, a yin and yang Croc and an oversized pink Croc adorned with pink bows.
The show's hair and beauty looks reminded us all of how fun fashion can be, the same fun spirit that was transported to 100 Vandam Street where guests enjoyed cocktails by Casa del Sol and celebrated the end of NYFW.
Partygoers danced and enjoyed the music alongside a huge ice sculpture of a Croc, how iconic?
The event was hosted by Jordan x Caine, real estate duo, who hosted this year's best NYFW parties and events. Fashion, as well as being fun, is also luxurious and aspirational and Jordan x Caine knows this better than anyone. Besides Cowan’s after party they also hosted Smashbox’s party at their $35M penthouse development, as a way to introduce their latest project. The perfect way to show and have guests experience the lifestyle identity they are creating.
A perfect event to end New York’s most fashionable week.
