Christian Louboutin Galeries Lafayette Takeover
What’s a trip to Paris without a stop at the Galeries Lafayette, France’s leading department stores carrying brands like Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, and of course, France’s own, Christian Louboutin?
The shoe with the signature red sole was created by the brand's namesake, Chrsitan Loubiton is a native of Paris. The brand’s influence throughout the years is undeniable, making their collaboration with Galleries Lafayette Haussmann store a perfect match.
The entrance to the iconic shopping mall is adorned with a large billboard displaying an illustration of white pointed high heels walking along a red ribbon carpet. The Galleries' iconic windows display feature artistic displays of the shoes in the form of moving imagery. One featuring Louboutins face, and tons of leg cutouts on a circular display featuring Loubiton heels.
This collaboration didn't start with the exterior of the iconic store. Christian Louboutin has made a statement with a full-blown takeover. In a similar fashion to the Christmas tree that dawns the Galeries Lafayette ceiling during the holidays, a large display of curling red ribbon hangs from the beautiful dome. Within it are legs similar to the exterior with white Louboutin pumps and the Louboutin logo.
A stunning red shopping space exclusively carrying Christian Loubiton is found inside the 4th space. This new experience features luxurious velour couches to fill the space and offer the latest in Christian Louboutin's leather goods like purses, wallets, and shoes. Beyond fashion accessories, Loubiton fans can get their hands on the brand's cosmetic collection, featuring a lipstick in their signature red.
Shoppers can continue to take part in this summer surprise until August 30th in Paris.
