Happy Bday Bella Hadid!
Celebrating Fashion’s Favorite Supermodel
September was Fashion Month and Bella Hadid was its ultimate superstar.
The supermodel not only walked for the biggest names but she served one of fashion’s most iconic moments in history. Her performance at the Coperni show was impeccable as she had a dress sprayed on stage onto her nude body and will forever be remembered.
Miss Bella Hadid, winner of GQ Hugo Boss Model of the Year needs no introduction. The power she possesses is undeniable; she has become Gen-Z’s favorite model and is adored by the fashion community. A young woman who has transformed in front of our eyes into the talented and hard working model she is today.
Every generation has their own supermodels, the 90’s had Chrissy, Naomi, Cindy, Tyra and Claudia, the 00 '2 had Kate, Coco, Gisele and Natalia. Now we have the somewhat controversial rise of the nepo-babies, and with them Bella Hadid.
Yes she comes from wealth, yes she has multiple advantages but in no way does that define or mark her career. Bella didn’t get to the top overnight, her hard work and work ethic is something she is praised for and respected among fashion insiders. Her pure passion, dedication and hard work translates into her work.
She quite literally dominates the modeling game, generating up to 852 percent more views on her runway looks than any other model, no surprise then why she is in every Pinterest board. She excels at her job with her chameleonic ability to completely transform to each designer's specific vision. A once in a generation talent dominating corporal and facial expressions making her work outstanding.
Yet, it isn’t just her work that won over everyone’s admiration, it is her charisma and bubbly personality. She really is a genuine nice persona, looking out for her fans and more importantly she is a beacon of change. Using her voice to inform her millions of followers about social injustice and she has stood her ground, she will always speak out for those who can’t.
Bella recently opened up to Vogue on how being political and defending her beliefs have come with a cost. Losing not only jobs but even friendships, but she isn’t shying away and keeps it real and honest.
Bella Hadid is also fashion’s biggest street style queen. Creating and establishing trends, staying ahead of them and bringing a new sense of style to youth culture.
This week Bella will turn 26 (oct. 26) and we celebrate her work as well as the example she sets, happy birthday!
