Lupita Nyong’o Shines at Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Global Premieres

The long awaited sequel to Marvels blockbuster Blanck Panther is here! Never shying away from touching politics or race subjects, Wakanda Forever invites us back to a world that shines a light on reality in a story lead by an incredible cast of women who make up the heart and soul of the movie.

One of the leading women of the film includes Academy Award Winner, Lupita Nyong’o, who plays Nakia. A powerful spy and warrior who got to expand on her character as Nakia got to interact with other characters allowing her to speak Spanish, something Lupita has always wanted to do. Nyong’o said that the new Aztec plot twist on the film allowed her to explore a part of her heritage she always dreamed of bringing to the screen, speaking Spanish!

Bringing that same enthusiasm and pride to the premiere at Mexico where she made everyone’s heads turn.

Nyong’o knows how to dress, not only does she always look stunning but she nails that Hollywood star look to perfection. Alongside her stylist Micaela Erlanger they have curated some of her best looks so far as Lupita goes on the worldwide press tour for Wakanda Forever.

Without a doubt her Hollywood premiere white Balmain gown placed her as the best dressed of the night. A knotted, cut-out, one shoulder dress paired with purple peep-toe heels and a shell crown that adorned her hair. Looking stunning and glowing as the lights reflected on her De Beers jewelry.

That same day she went on Jimmy Kimmel Live where she kept things more classy and sexy with a two piece, tailored, crystal-encrusted set form Cing a Sept paired with square framed sunglasses and of course De Beers jewelry.

While in Mexico she rocked a cobalt blue two piece suit form LAPOINTE, a cut-out crop top and tailored pants she paired with silver kitten heels. Keeping the best for later, as she stepped to the red carpet in a showstopping Jonathan Cohen red custom design. A fiery red, structured, voluminous look with cape included which was inspired by Lupita’s Mexican heritage. This time less wasn’t more, Lupita changed to a second look that was hiding underneath. Unveiling a darker femme fatale look with a leather black, high slit, harness corset gown.

But my personal favorite was her look for the Nigeria premiere where she looked like an actual modern day princess.

A gold, sparkly, off the shoulder Vivienne Westwood gown serving serious glam.

Keeping things sparkly, Lupita wore an Art Deco inspired Alexander McQueen sequined embellished floor length gown.

Lupita Nyong’o really is this seasons best dressed star as she is giving us endless iconic moments. Glowing as she goes around the globe with her cast mates promoting Wakanda Forever and paying homage to their characters as well as the late Chadwick Boseman, may he Rest In Peace.
