Michael Kors Astor Collection
This fall, Micheal Kors is throwing it back to their earlier years with an all-new collection of leather astor pieces that look straight from the 2000s. This 2004 relaunch has all the feels of the original collection as they relaunch for their Fall Winter 2023 Collection.

The collection, inspired by Astor Place in NYC, features a variety of pieces for men and women. Although initially reintroduced for Spring, the Fall 2023 collection and campaign features handbags, shoes, and apparel in a shade of chocolate brown. One piece the Astor Large Studded Suede Shoulder Bag features a sleek baguette silhouette and soft brown suede. Small golden studs line the stitchwork down the middle of the bag, as well as accentuate the bottom corners with diagonal studding. A coordinating brown and gold MK bag tag hangs from the coordinating leather strap. This chocolatey brown bag joins a lineup of other Astor shoulder bags in a variety of colorful non-suede leather styles. This addition is a staple fall handbag style.

Another piece from fall the collection, for Micheal Kors men is the Astor Medium Studded Suede Messenger Bag. This style, more masculine in nature, is a combination of suede and non-suede leather, The flap, is similar to the shoulder bag. Features golden studs along the middle stitch. The bottom of the flap features a coordinating shiny weather with the MK emblem embedded in gold. Attached is a leather strap featuring golden hardware.

Micheal Kors launched this new Astor Collection with an elegant Paris photoshoot, featuring models like Blésnya Minher who models for brands like Bulgari and Louis Vuitton. Set at the glorious Château de Chantilly, models posed in and out of a beautiful cream helicopter dressed in all shades of brown and pieces from the Astor collection. In one shot in particular. Blésnya steps out of the helicopter, ponytail blowing in the wind, dressed in the collection studded tank dress, and coordinating boots, with one Astor bag slung around the shoulder and two others in her hand. Her look is accessories with a coordinating brown jacket and a gold MK chain belt. The mixture of the chic set for this campaign and the on-the-go look of models carrying duffles on and off the chopper makes for a unique scene.
Micheal Kors sure knows how to translate a popular collection, whether it be from 2004 to 2023, or spring to fall. This new color range of the Astor Collection features new styles for fall, and of course, lots of suede.
