Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 4 is Almost Here

Rihanna’s annual Savage X Fenty show is set to drop at midnight on November 9, 2022. Vol. 4 will be available to stream on Amazon Prime.

The announcement of Vol. 4 received positive feedback and fans are excited to see if Rihanna will tease new music on the runway. Since her hiatus from the music industry in 2016, fans have been eagerly waiting for Rihanna’s return to music since her eighth studio album, Anti.

Her new lingerie line will be showcased on the runway and will be available to purchase during its release at midnight. During a press release, it was announced that the Vol. 4 will showcase, "a new all-star lineup of models, actors, some of the biggest names in music, and more". In past years, stars like Normani, Emily Ratajkowski, Gigi Hadid, and Vanessa Hudgens had graced the runway, so we are eagerly waiting for the announcement of this year’s A-list attendees.

In addition to her lingerie line, Savage X Fenty will be releasing a new category of clothing for the brand that will be shown on the runway- activewear. The activewear collection is called POWER X PLAY and has been teased the past week on Savage X Fenty’s socials. Activewear has been a running theme and trend for many celebrity brands and celebrity collaborations such as SKIMS Activewear by Kim Kardashian and Adidas x IVY PARK by Beyoncé.

Since the launch of Savage X Fenty in 2018, Rihanna has preached size inclusivity for the brand and brought to light many important conversations in the fashion industry in terms of empowerment and feeling confident and sexy in your own body. Her brand offers bra sizes ranging up to 46DDD/42H and underwear, sleepwear and loungewear ranging from XS–4X. She also advocates for inclusivity in her cosmetic brand, Fenty Beauty. Rihanna states, “We don't believe in division. We do not believe in excluding anyone”.

The upcoming collection is described as, "a homage to self-expression and personal empowerment... featuring disparate textures, unexpected detailing, and unconventional proportions that come together seamlessly to create a boundary-bending experience for everyBODY."

2022 is Rihanna’s year and we are excited to see what she has up her sleeve for 2023, especially after the announcement of her performing at the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Once again, she proves that her legacy goes beyond her music and has increased the standard of inclusivity in the fashion and cosmetic industry.
