Summer at Isla Bonita with TwoJeys

Jewelry is an accessory that never misses a season and with the rising popularity of Y2K jewelry has become a symbol of fun. We are talking about beads, high shine, color saturations and smiley face motifs. Nothing says summer like a beautiful pair of beaded earrings or tiny charms.

This summer TwoJeys took us to Ibiza to celebrate their newest collection “Isla Bonita” and third year anniversary.

In just three short years digital jewelry brand, TwoJeys, has made its way into becoming one of Spain’s most coveted brands and has gained fast international recognition.

Influencers Joan and Biel, both Spanish native, have built a growing jewelry empire that was born from their passion for design and strong attachments to Urban Culture. This truly is a story that represents the “social media age dream”. Since their late teen years they have been building their social media platforms when in 2019 they decided to quit school and partener to create the brand they’ve always dreamed of.

A visionare proyect that understood perfectly what its potential customers would love, genderless jewelry with a eye-catching youthful visual aesthetic. I mean, if this isn’t what you envision coolness to look like we can't be friends.

Now, the real question is; how did two 20-something year olds manage to create such a successful online brand? They understand both sides of the business. Their time as influencers has taught them all the know-how on how to build successful viral campaigns. Marketing today is nothing without social media which Biel and Joan are masters at this point.

Not only do they have a great product, their jewelry is handmade in Spain and delivered in a biodegradable package, but also great graphics. True to their motto, “if you don't find what you are looking for, create it yourself”, these gen-z entrepreneurs created a lifestyle where everyone is welcomed without differentiations.

People were immediately drawn to the brand's aesthetic that fuses the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s giving retro vibes. They reflect this aesthetic in their movies and online campaigns, visuals that are all about film photography, spontaneous flashes, excessive use of zooms and strong California vibes.

TwoJeys was celebrating its first anniversary when COVID-19 hit. This meant they had to put in their creativity to come up with ways to promote their brand in the middle of a pandemic. The way business was done completely changed so Biel and Joan came up with a Covid-19 free idea, they decided that their summer campaign would be an experience customers could watch and enjoy. They invited friends and influencers to their Summer Villa, think Love Island but with less drama and way more fashion.

TwoJeys comes at a time where fashion and accessories no longer belong to one specific “gender” and help depolarize jewelry designs, appealing to girls and boys. They have managed to find the perfect balance between femenine and masculine creating neutral statement pieces for everyone.
