Sir Lewis Hamilton for those who do not know is undoubtedly one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time, with 7 world championships and 8 constructors championships with Mercedes(for now) he will be recognised forever.  However, his driving is not the only thing he is recognized for, his style speaks for itself.

Every time during a race-weekend he shows up in perfectly coordinated outfits that often represent in some way the county he is racing in. He constantly promotes local artists and black designers. Being the only black driver in all of the sport ever he gives a stand on political fights and uses his platform to convey messages to the world. He also shares his love for art by designing with artists his unique helmet liveries for each race.

He is a regular guest at fashion shows all over the world. In interviews he often refers to himself as best dressed in Formula 1, and that has also been confirmed by other drivers. He doesn’t only promote fashion designers, but also is a creator of his own brand “Plus 44” (his formula one number).

Sir Lewis Hamilton is a perfect example that fashion has a place everywhere even in sports , where he manages to show his style and personality and inspires other drives to show their character through their fits. Even though most drivers show up in their team’s gear, fashion sense in formula one is spreading.
