Cargo pockets started as an army trick to be able to hold as much ammunition as possible, maps, and other battlefield necessities. However, that invention became useful to other people too. In the 80s skaters gave life to cargo pants by prioritizing baggy and comfy clothes. Women and girls found that attractive and started wearing cargo pants in the 90's and 2000’s. Later on, in 2010’s it became a “dad look” by introducing cargo shorts. It came back to the fashion world in 2018 with Gen-Z (Y2K Fashion). Cargo pants have come back throughout multiple seasons SS2021, SS2023 and now in FW2023 and SS2024 cargo pockets steal the spotlight. There is no need anymore to wear pants, to look stylish, with those big attention-grabbing pockets taking over all possible items.

Mens and Womens SS 2024 Fashion week has proved it. Acne Studios, Prada, BALENCIAGA, Diesel, Mugler, etc. Have returned in forms of jackets, skirts, dresses, jumpers, shirts, etc. The presentation of pockets on clothing saves the trouble of carrying around a bag. They serve as an accent to your body features, while making you look very stylish. It is incredible how fashion could make something that was created to be “useful” into something stylish and even reinvent it.

Cargo pockets are not the only fashion trend that is grabbing our attention, a pretty neck scarf has always been a lady’s sexy accessory. This upcoming season, get ready for an extravagant neckerchief. This scarf is not just a silky touch, but it is a statement. A neck scarf has been recorded in history since 1350 BC being used by the Egyptian Queen Nefertiti. A scarf has always been worn for different reasons: for fashion, for warmth, for religion, etc. However, it has definitely been constantly coming back over time.

This season the neckerchief is fearless, powerful, but still very elegant. This time the scarf is a part of a tie trend and is presented with a knot or a pussybow. It is used to add glamor to a suit, a long dress, a mini skirt and a shirt, etc. It can keep you sexy, while highlighting your neck and showing that you are succinct and professional. It is a new stylish update for a neck scarf.
