Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion take the stage at the 2022 Grammys. Did you do a double take though? Because the two definitely were wearing the same dress. And this wasn't coincidental either. It was purely the remaking of Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston's 1998 MTV VMA's matching moment. The only difference between the 2022 and 1998 award show looks were the dresses (and of course the people wearing them). Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion wore matching Versace dresses. Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston wore the same brown Vera Wang dress. Both looks were absolutely stunning. There are many looks that were so iconic, almost too many to name. We are taking a deeper dive into specifically, past Grammy looks that have left an everlasting imprint in our minds.

When you think of the Grammys red carpet, the first dress that comes to mind is, of course, Jennifer Lopez’s Versace moment in 2000. The plunging neckline was daring, but the risk paid off. The sheer palm print dress went viral and in 2020, J. Lo walked down the Versace runway in a new version of the viral dress.
