What’s Hot and What’s Not

Fashion police here… We are here to tell you what is on trend and what is not so much anymore. Now, just to preface, you of course can wear what you are most comfortable in regardless of what we say, however this is simply trend forecasting as we all know trends have a certain cycle since humans evolve into something else every few years, even every few months.

To begin… Skinny jeans. They look good with certain outfits nowadays, however most of the looks that have been seen on the streets, on the celebs, and the hottest influencers going, are the baggy pants. Whether they are jeans, a pair of billowing slacks, or nylon track pants, people are loving the effortless, sexy look of baggy pants.

Fur vests have been out of fashion for years, and I don’t think they will be coming back anytime soon. But, the vests that do accompany the sleeveless attire would be puffer vests and tuxedo vests. These vests came in full throttle and have even been paired with baggy pants.

You know those tiny microscopic bags that people loved just last year? I still see them around, but I have been seeing more larger bags being used lately than the bags that can probably only hold a Q-tip.

I feel like we haven’t been seeing much tall riding boots these past few years. Recently though, the platform knee-high boots are all the rave and I am here for it. The grunge, cool girl vibe can turn any outfit up 10,000 notches.

As far as colors go, green has never been so popular as far as how I have seen it. I personally have found a new love for green this year and I barely wore green in the past. Maybe little details of green here and there, but I would never think to buy a Bottega Veneta green colored dress for the summer. The color that I do not see too much of this season is a dark forest green. It seems as though this new, bright green color is taking over.
