A new Vivienne Westwood Bag for Fall
On August 11th, Vivienne Westwood released a new handbag to their site, a stunning foldover handbag, right in time for fall. The Sibyl joins Vivienne’s lineup of beautiful and quality handbags.

The black calf leather bag is embossed with a lizard texture, creating a subtly detailed finish. The bag folds over with a unique front flap that overlays the sides. It would be Vivienne Westwood without their iconic Ord. An oversized bronze Orb sits front and center on the bag, matching the bag's bronze handwear. The bag's sharp turns and origami nature align with Vivienne Westwood’s edginess. Some of the brand’s other handbags carry similar features, such as the Courtney with a similar flap and large Orb. However this bag is smaller, patent leather, and features silver hardware.

Vivienne Westwood is known for testing the limits when it comes to fashion, both in design and marketing. She was also known for her influences on ethical fashion design and environmentalism, her brand carries these values even following her passing in 2022. The photo shoot for the Sibyl bag has her free-spirited essence. Models in blonde wigs pose in various spots dressed in mix match gray plaid, black shoes, and sunglasses.
In the campaign photographing the newest bag, multiple colorways are presented. A deep burgundy, deep green, and black with larger more quilt-like embossing. Currently, on Vivienne Westwood's site, only the lizard texture black version of the Sibyl bag is available. With anticipation for the other fall-colored styles to hopefully follow soon.
