Adidas Announces Collaboration with Moncler Genius
Adidas announced that they will be collaborating with luxury label Moncler in a new collection to be unveiled at London Fashion week on February 20th. The collection comes from Moncler Genius, a boundary pushing branch of the brand focused on meaningful collaborations.
Adidas is, at this point, no stranger to luxury collaborations; recently, it has created capsule collections with brands like Gucci and Balenciaga. Adidas unveiled their new collaboration in an Instagram post showing a co-branded logo. Moncler teased themes of art and genius in a trailer on their own Instagram account.
In addition to Adidas, the collection titled “Art of Genius” is in collaboration with Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys, Roc Nation by Jay Z, FRGMT, Palm Angels, and Salehe Bembury. This huge list of contributors are bringing Moncler Genius to previously unexplored places through immersive experiences and performances.
The collection is not just about fashion. Moncler aims to create a platform of collaboration that stretches beyond fashion, touching on themes of art, design, entertainment, sport, fashion and culture. This immersive experience is bound to be a highlight at London Fashion week, and we can’t wait to see more.
