Best Women’s Suits of Milan Fashion Week

Italian suits are unparalleled. Bringing together pristine materials, quality stitchwork, and typically a minimal nature. This Fashion Week, many iconic Italian brands presented beautiful women's suits that align with the brand’s character. These were some of the best. 

Ferragamo

What's Milan Fashion Week without Ferragamo? Famous for their beautifully sophisticated looks for women and one of the major fashion leaders. They presented their Spring 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection during Milan Fashion Week. This collection included a beautiful palette of colors including a deep key green and fiery reds. However stunning women’s suits stole the show.

One suit in the collection, a beautiful rich kelly green leather, featured a sleek pocketless design and a simple two-button front. Paired with matching cropped pants. This spring suit stood out with its unique palette and texture. Styles with strappy beaded sandals and a small brown handbag, it gives the essence of a perfect early spring suit and is a beautiful statement for the brand.

Tod’s

Tod’s is one of the most influential Italian brands, with their quality leather and craftsmanship. Intricate details made the suits of their Spring 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection stand out, and their collection, like many for their previous, featured suit after suit, all with their own unique features.

One suit, an all-alabaster look, featured a strapless vest top with a deep v and singular monochromatic button. I simple small buckle belt cinched the top in the front and two lower flaps of the best hung unbuttoned below the belt overlaying the unique skirt that lay beneath. The vest was styled with a matching pencil skirt with sharp-defined pleats. The look was styled with short leather black gloves and black mules. The detail and structure of this suit made it something simple yet truly intricate.

Versace

On a star-studded catwalk, opened by Kendall Jenner and featuring models like Claudia Schiffer, Versace debuted their Spring/Summer 2024 collection in Milan. The house is famous for its bold designs and iconic looks and collections throughout the years making it one of the most well-known Italian designers. Their latest collection featured a variety of suits for both men and women that follow the brand's colorful nature.

One women’s suit is particular, featuring a darling baby gingham tip. Highly structured with three silver Meuca buttons, low pockets, and an hourglass silhouette that flares at the hips making for a hyper-feminine style. The piece was complemented by baby pink and white jumbo checkered print shorts. The model carried a small baby pink handbag and coordinating pumps with large bows and medusa buttons. The Barbie inspiration is undeniable and this untraditional free-spirited suit is a beautiful addition to their sunny spring collection.

These spring suits were some of the best of Milan Fashion Week. Other brands to present stunning suits of their own include Boss, Gucci, and Tom Ford. All with their own unique features to define women’s suits for 2024.
