Courtside NBA Seats Have All Eyes On Them When It Comes To Fashion

Imagine being courtside of the Los Angeles Lakers game, you’re dressed impeccably and everyone is capturing candid photos of you watching the game. These seats either make for a date night, a night out, or just something fun to do for most celebrities.

When celebrities are courtside at an NBA game, all eyes are on them. It has become somewhat of a fashion show, a common theme across many sports, and thankfully basketball is one of the few sports left where fans can actually sit on the court right next to the action-filled game.

These courtside seats give the audience a perfect view of outfits, dates, and whether or not they are interested in the game or not.

Zendaya and Tom Holland were recently spotted at the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors on May 4th. Zendaya’s hometown is just 30 minutes from the San Francisco-based team so they are like a hometown team to her. For this date night, the pair kept it casual with Tom in a white crewneck sweatshirt and Zendaya in a simple white tee with a black Warriors hat, which she later took off. However, some celebs don’t always keep it so casual for these courtside affairs.

Kendall Jenner is continuously seen sitting right next to all the action, especially when she was dating her now ex-boyfriend Devin Booker who plays for the Phoenix Suns. Just a few days ago she Bad Bunny, her current rumored romance, stepped out to another game against the Lakers and the Warriors. This playoff game last Friday made the pair seem to be getting more serious than just a potential fling.

Jenner arrived in a basic cropped white tank top paired with an animal print skirt and knee-high pointed-toe snakeskin boots. She finished the look with gold hoops, a few rings, and a black leather jacket. Bad Bunny, or Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, was matching his potential partner with a classic white button-down, a black leather jacket, and black jeans. His snake print boots matched Jenner’s and he finished his look off with a black hat and some black shades.

While Jenner has always been one to look to for inspiration when it comes to basketball games, there are many other celebrities that you can look to depending on what kind of style you are going for.

Justin and Hailey Bieber have been to a few games and they like to keep it casual but with a little flare. During one game the pair sat courtside and they both wore something more casual up top like jeans or a sweatshirt. However, their shoes were the shining star of the outfit. A pair of bright and statement sneakers is sometimes all you need to elevate your outfit.

Someone who dresses up a little more for the courtside experience is Adele. With her boyfriend, Rick Paul, being a sports agent she is seen at quite a few games across the country. At one of the Lakers games at the Staples Center, she wore a monochrome brown leather jumpsuit along with a monogrammed Louis Vuitton coat.

Gabrielle Union and former Miami Heat player Dwayne Wade attend the Philadelphia 76ers game with coordinating outfits. Union sported a white ribbed cropped tank top with matching straight-leg pants and a pair of simple heels. Her husband paired a white hoodie with mustard yellow pants and a white and red hat. His black shades and white sneakers completed the look and matched with Union adorably.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have been spotted during a few games over the past few years and love to match. During a Brooklyn Nets game in 2021, Jay-Z sported black pants and a t-shirt with black sneakers, and a black hat with shades. The queen herself went for a more daring look with a black leather corset dress and a crystal-embellished black jacket both from David Koma. Her accessories included classic Christian Louboutin heels, sparkling oversized sunglasses, and a dazzling diamond necklace.

With all these looks, there are many options when deciding what to wear to a basketball game. Going more casual and sticking with the basics makes a great choice when you're wanting a more chill and comfortable look. But, if you’re looking to really make an impression you can go with a dress and accessories that will not be forgotten.
