Hunter Schafer Wore a Hand Painted Puzzle at the Hunger Games Prequel Premiere
The Hunger Games frenzy is upon us once again with the approaching release of the motion picture for the prequel to the highly successful trilogy by Suzzane Collins, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Set to release November 17th, a press tour of the movie premiere is underway for the movie’s star-studded cast featuring Hunter Schafer, Peter Dinklage, and Viola Davis.
Rachel Zegler
Playing the role of Lucy Gray Baird in the film is Rachel Zegler, well-known for her roles in Disney’s live-action Snow White and West Side Story. For the European premiere, the star wore a stunning black fitted down with a double scooped neck. The mermaid skirt flared out to expose and red and black gradient which stood out bright and bold along with her red lip. The dress was meant to pay homage to the original Hunger Games film with Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence, who wore a black gown that caught on fire as she spun in the book and film adaption. This look channels the inner rebellion of Rachel’s character in the story and her link to other rebels in the film series, paving the way for the new era of the Hunger Games. The statement dress was designed by the London fashion brand Alexander McQueen.

Hunter Schafer
Known for her in the major TV series Euphoria where she plays the role of Jules, Hunter Schafer plays the major role of Tigris Snow in The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, cousin of Coriolanus Snow. In an exquisite and intricate dress, well aligned with the role she plays, Hunter made her mark on the red carpet in a look designed by French brand Schiaparelli.
The crotched puzzle dress, as described by the Haute Couture brand, was hand-painted and embellished with rhinestones. In gorgeous rich shades of yellows, greens, oranges, and more, each brushstroke that appeared on the dress was well-defined and the star appeared to have stepped fresh out of an oil painting. The high neck and skin-tight fit on the dress resembled the look of body paint and for her role in the movie, in which she plays a fashion designer, no look would be better suited.

Josh Andrés Rivera
Josh, who plays Sejanus Plinth in the film looks sharp in a deep navy suit and with a black high neck shirt and black shoes for the upcoming movies Berlin premier.

Tom Blyth
Also in a dark and sleek suit was Tom Blyth, who plays Coriolanus Snow, another returner character in their younger form in the film. The British actor, known for his roles in Billy the Kid and The Gilded Age dressed dapper in an all-black Givenchy suit. Lacking visible buttons and with simple pocked, the suit had a sleek look and a dressed-down feel layered over a black collarless top and black boots.

As we anticipate the release of this prequel we can expect to see the faces of more stars from the film at upcoming premiers aswell as hopefully some old faces like Jennifer Laurence and Josh Hutcherson who played Katniss and Peeta in the original trilogy.
