Makeup and beauty that does not tie itself to the “norm” and definitely does not conform to the typical Hollywood beauty standards, something she is known for. Bringing edge and excitement to how beauty can be looked at and enjoyed.

“I want my brand to talk to those people. Something honest and uninhibited – that’s how I see it.”

If you don’t know who Ffrench is let me introduce her to you. At just 33 years old she has become one of the most influential voices in fashion. I mean her impressive resume speaks for itself, global beauty director of Burberry Beauty, co-developer of cosmetics lines for Tom Ford and Byredo, developed some of the most sought out beauty trends like Rihanna’s pencil-browned cover for British Vogue. A trend every supermodel is wearing right now and soon you will too.

Her peers have expressed their deep admiration and referred to her as a real visionary, one that devotes her work and artistic talents to applaud diversity and self-expression. Her use of prosthetics and artistic, imaginative approach to makeup place her as a Dadaist and Surrealist modern artist with a capital A.

We all use makeup, be it tinted sunblock, Chapstick, blush, fake lashes and so on. A medium that transforms and enhances with a heavy history or being utilized mainly by women to adhere to beauty standards, what Ffrench does is literally throw that idea out the door and uses makeup as a weapon of truth.

Her lengthy knowledge and appreciation of  adverse beauty could come from her experience working with beauty titans including Cher and Madonna! Combining it with a fresh, youthful and avant-grade lens.

“Beauty is something that, speaking from myself in a Western world, has been shaped by big corporations and it’s monetized in a huge way. I think a lot of our perception of beauty is adhered to what makes money and what sells.”

With her debut collection INDUSTRIAL, which shook the beauty industry, she intends to bring a whole new meaning to the next beauty standards and invite and inspire people to liberate from ideals of the mainstream and become more authentic.
